Spa time....

After going to the vet, I wanted to take a dip to remove all of the vet smells off of me.

I had to try and relax,(and Scampi will not follow and sniff me in the water) I could not sleep at the vet at all, too many dogs barking, and they taking me in for tests.
They took blood out of my leg, but this vet didn't shave my leg, which I am very grateful for.
Now Mommy says we have to wait for the results, they will call us in a couple of days. The vet worker told Mommy all about my singing voice. I think she has heard it before, but they don't get many Huskies and are not used to our sad, lonely, LET ME OUT OF HERE song!
So all wet, I ran through the flower garden, then rolled around the backyard for a while, then ran inside with muddy paws. That was fun.
And a day late for Tuesday telling, so Wednesday talking....

This picture is for Ozzie- I saw this one while on my boat.
No, I have never seen an alligator close up, Mommy has only seen 1 baby one in the neighborhood, it was crossing the street going into the golf course lawn. We have seen them on the river when we go boating, and Mommy will not let me swim in any fresh water unless I am on a leash and she is standing next to me. we have heard of them getting into pools, but our yard is fenced in like Fort Knox, so he would have to climb over or move the concrete under to get into our yard.

awww--wow! you are lucky to have such a nice spa! we didn't realize you liked the water--not too common for a breed like you!!

Well, we are impressed. And concerned. It just doesn't seem natural for a sibe to WANT to get all wet. At least woo can be safe in your own spa, looks like the rivers in FL might not have very friendly locals!

I've heard you're supposed to run in a zig-zag path if a gator is chasing you. Is that true?

I'm glad you were able to take a relaxing dip and then get a mud treatment.

Kira,

You are so cool! I think that your pool dip looks like a blast. I hope that you start feeling better soon and that the vet has good results. I can't believe that you have seen an alligator!!! That is sooooooo scarry--yet kind of cool too. You must have to be a really tough husky to live in Florida.

Paws,
Ozzie
