More Vacation pictures

So yes, this is my new boat, at least Mommy and Daddy say so... Has anyone noticed, there is no name? What shall we name the boat? Our last boat was called "Salty Dog" after me, of course, because I love boating and the sea air.

Mom thinks we should call it "Nauti-Dog", (after the Border collie I am sure,) but then it would not be my boat. What do you all think? Any name suggestions are appreciated.
Daddy worked on the boat fixing things all weekend. It is a few years old and needs some work, but he grew up with his grandfather working on boats in a boat yard in NY city (Flushing) so he knows how to fix them. That is how we got a bigger boat for a little bit of kibble. While Dad worked on the boat, Mom cleaned the inside, and then we went for a walk.

I saw this boat!

Do you see the name and where it is from? I think it must be Alfie the beagle from Scotland!
Sadly we could not find anyone on the boat, so if Alfie was here he certainly remained incognito and did not bring along my Snoop!

We also saw some of the locals, grooming themselves...

Mom and Dad went on this trip to work on the boat to get ready for a big trip next month, but I am not going!!!!!
Mom says I would be too hot without air conditioning for many hours. They are going to go on "Boat-a-cade" which is a bunch of boats going nowhere slowly for over a week. (They go somewhere every year). They are going to cruise this year down the west side of Florida , stop at Sanibel Island, then return back up the coast. Last year they did the Florida keyes and the year before they went north to Charlestown, South Carolina. It is a long way in a little boat.

Bed time, wait until you see what I did Sunday!!!

Nauti-dog is very cute! Personally, I think that you should call it "The Ozzie"--but that's just me :-)

We like the nauti-dog! How cool you saw a boat belonging to Alfie the beagle although it should have said Moray, Scotland! Possibly a painting error!
lots of love

Nauti-dog is very clever. Could you do both and call it Nauti-dog meets Salti-dog?

Maybe you need to check again and see if Alfie is there, maybe he was off shopping when you stopped by.

ohhhhh--what a gREAT post! i really enjoyed the pictures--what fun fun fun that must have been. having a boat must truely be AMAZING!!!! that boat looks like it should be named CHINOOK!!! but boat names are a very personal thing and perhaps you want to incorporate the dog theme--so we will think more on it!

We love Nauti-Dog!!! We were trying to think of a name that was a combination of woo and Scampi, maybe something to do with Sibord?

While I think Nauti-Dog is a very funny name, I agree that the boat should be named after you and you are not nauti. :-)

Since the boat is blue and you have blue eyes, maybe you could do something about blue.
