I am Home!

Back from the vet! They hurt me and stabbed me with a needle several times. I did not like that! I whined and yelped a lot. The vet had to shave part of my leg, and then I bleed a lot. Then they had to do it again with a back leg, so i had two legs shaved and one boo boo on the other front one where he could not find a vein. When I came home Mommy gave me some cheese and a special chewy bone, that lasts around a minute for me.

Yum!

Then I tried to remove the bandage, but it was too hard
So I am going to take a little nap now....
Mommy says that the vet was checking my medicine levels and testing for Cushing's and Addison's disease, he just wants to rule them out.
The good news was that my heart rate is climbing back up, the medicine is starting to work, I am up to a heart rate of 80 from 60. So I am getting better, yeah!

I'm surprised that they didn't jab you in the fourth leg just to complete the set.

We'll keep our paws crossed that your test results come back fine.

Kira we are really happy you are safely home and enjoying treats.
There is good news from the vet who is obviously looking after you very well - even if he is jabbing you and making you bleed!
Hopefully you will forget all that nasty stuff with all the hugs and treats you will be getting.
Scampi was on the blog earlier - really missing you!
Love you lots
Martha & Bailey xxxx
PS Tell your mom we were going to put a link in for Ailsa Craig but forgot! You can sail to it and our human brothers regularly did that and climbed up it. We used to have a caravan at Croy shore for years, before Martha & bailey!

We hope all of your test results are GOOD ones!
How come you were trying to take your cool sweat band off your leg? Didn't like the color? We always get purple, because it's KSU's color.

Dave

Hi Kira, we hope all your tests come back with good results. And maybe you should leave that bandage alone, you might bleed all over your beautiful white paws.

Oh my lovely Kira! I like that sporty blue anklet you got at the vet. You are trying to give it a more distressed look I see.

Its OK that you got a little scared when they poked and proded you.
