Pawsitive Training!

Mommy learned all about positive training this weekend. I figured out what that means, COOKIES!!!!!!!! Lots of them. I think I am going to like this program!

Photos from Mommy's flashy box while at the seminar, Mommy may be able to sculpt and paint, but she sure can't take pictures.....
Mommy said there were Border collies.....Lots of Golden Retrievers.....

A couple of Poodles and Aussies....
This cute little Norfolk Terrier (he was the only terrier in the program!)
And Martha and Bailey, Look, a Basset Hound!
Mom said to tell you, yes you can positively motivate your Basset,
his Mom said it just takes lots of cookies!

Mommy says with cookies, praise and hands on petting, stroking and loving we can all be great dogs, not just in the ring,, but at home too! No more yanking , pulling, jerking on the leash, no more NO's, just happy dogs.......The trainer said that dogs are not wanting to please humans,
but are parasites that just get the most out of Moms that we can.
I really like this person, she must of been trained well by a Husky!
I can't wait to start! Where are my cookies?

Pee Ess Woo- Mommy's server and email are still down and the email link did not work in yesterdays post, so email her at flemingps@hotmail.com

Such a cute terrier = if our Mom didn't have us, she'd want a Norfolk.

Calling us parasites is not very positive!

But anything that gets me more cookies, works for me.

Chuckling - we kind of like the parasites comment. We sure can be pests! But cute.

Some of these dogs just look too well trained. They must get lots of cookies.

It is no surprise that there was only one terrier in the program. Most terrier owners soon learn when they'll be wasting their money!
Enjoy the cookies.

Yep, cookies will work very well for me, I'll do anything for a good treat. But not Phantom, he is just too picky about food and is sooooo not food-motivated.

Cute pups there, especially that bassett/

Well, our humans tried the whole treats to stop pulling and it didn't work but I'm sure they were just doing something wrong. We do everything else though.
