Busy Huntress!

I have been very busy this week catching these giants rats which have invaded the yard! I really don't know why they keep coming here, I have been diligently catching one every evening!

A little while later it is gone though. I don't understand what Mom is doing with my catches, they are not in my kibble at night! I wonder if she is eating them herself. She always makes me leave it then drags me inside. When I go back out later, it is gone!

I am Kira, Mighty Huntress!

Pee Ess Woo from Kira's Mom,-- No Opossums were harmed in this post! Kira has grabbed the same opossum every night, which plays dead, then gets up and leaves after Kira has been brought inside. She goes out and looks for it all of the time.

Good work Kira mighty huntress! We think you should look into what is happening with your kill - it would be too bad if your mom was cooking it for herself!!!!

Miss Kira,
That possum and your mom are just messing about with you. Do not fall for it. If you do, then the possum will spread the word to his pals that if they come over they can get a joy ride into a warm house and then what will you do? You will be spending your entire day carrying them in and out in your most delicate jaws.

Slobbers,
Mango

Well Kira, if in your mind you are a Mighty Huntress then you are indeed a Mighty Huntress, and who are we to question that!

Which just proves how "not bright" possums are if the same one keeps coming back.

You'd think the possum would take the hint and go somewhere else!

I got me one of those things the other night too. Maybe they are planning an attack! We should start an assualt, as soon as it is done raining, maybe. Anyways, good job!

Your mom probably wants it for herself. I can't believe she keeps taking them from you. Does she at LEAST sit and shake paws with you first?

Kira, we get those things here too. Mommy won't let me out to be a huntress like you cause some of them are as big as me. I am proud of you and keep up the good work.

Do you think that giant rat wants to be your furiend? TD caught one once and it played dead until Mom put him on a shovel = he jumped off and really scared Mom.

Happy Hunting, Kira.

We had one of those too! Dad scooped it over the fence but it was gone in the morning when we went looking for it.

It must be possum season because we've cornered a few in our yard recently too. Unfortunately, they don't show up in our bowls either.
