Not your average Husky......

I have seen some interesting comments lately that I would like to address.

I am not a digging dog, sorry to say Maxx, contrary to poular opinion, I do not dig,  I leave that to Scampi as he is an expert digger. The only time I like to dig is to dig up moles or some critter to have a snack.....

I like the rain,
and I love to swim!

I am an expert at obedience

Although I will run at an open gate....and run for miles....to the nearest swimming hole!

And I shed all of the time... although Mom does not shave me,

I am perfectly content to stay in my fur....in the air conditioning...

I am a Florida Husky, hear me Wooooo!

Hey there Kira
We really do think you are beautiful and certainly live up to your name!!! We have something in common too: Goldens are also 'supposed' to be diggers AND I too, am not!!!
Lovely pictures

My Husky, Smokes will also run for miles when the gate is left open by mistake! But I do shave him. The hair is too much! In the winter I let his coat grow out! I think Smokes has only been in the water once or twice, only when he escapes! Have a great day!

We knew there was something unusual about woo... but lets face it, a husky can do whatever a husky wants to do, as so long as that husky decides to... so its furry husky-like to be unusual!

After digg'n in all that dirt, it's a good thing you have a pool close by, cause you guys are too big for the kitchen sink!

Your mommy must have strong arms? That's a lot of fur!

Luv,
Riley and Star.

Hi Kira,
Wow, I had no idea you guys shed that much!! Thought you'd need to keep that fur to keep you warm!
Loved your back yard...what nice plants you can grow in FL.

Rule number 1 about being a Siberian - we don't follow the rules. The lack of being able to predict us is exactly the fun as a breed. So live it up in any way!

Thank you for that interesting tidbit of education on Huskys. We love learning more about the breeds of our friends.

I think part of being a Sibe is keeping everyone guessing. Always do the unexpected!
