Puppies!

Here are some more puppies from puppy class this past week. Mom has this little foster puppy she was asked to especially work with. It is a little 4 lb Shih tzu/ Yorkie mix who was rescued last week from a raid on a house with over 60 dogs.Another trainer took in this little puppy who was covered in fleas and urine.

She has never been outside of her cage or handled by humans before last week. It is a sad story with a happy ending as this other dog trainer has decided to keep this puppy. She asked Mom to help train it because she is busy teaching other classes and Mom is the puppy trainer who has also worked a lot with rescues.

Mom was happy to see she has no major issues and was able to get her to walk on a leash and sit on command already. Mom gets to work with her for the next few weeks.
Her name is Hazel. She is one lucky little girl.

I must admit that as annoying as puppies are, I do enjoy watching a pack of them all playing and rolling around. They are so clumsy!

What a lucky pup to get out of that horrible situation, to find a good home, AND to have your Mom to help with the training. We love puppies.

Happy weekend, the OP Pack

I am so glad this puppy has a home. I hate to see puppies that have noone. I almost rescued a dog in July from a pet store, the puppy looked so sick, but they said it was sold already. I didn't believe them, but I had too.

Sweet little Hazel! We're so glad she's in rescue now - and how she finds a good forever home! Bless your mom for working with her!!!
Those are some mighty adorable puppies - Mom really likes that black and white one in the second shot down. She's a sucker for that "one ear up, one ear down" thing. So am I...

It breaks our Mom's heart to see a puppy who has never been handled and is left in a cage. We are so glad Hazel has found a wonderful home. When we place our puppies, Mom always interviews extensively, but she is always afraid that someone out there is going to try to fool her. It would break her heart if one of our puppies got put in a puppy mill situation.

How awful for that deal little puppy!
We are so glad she now has a good home.
Could we please please have the puppy in the top picture?
Our mum is very happy that she her last four dogs have been rescues but sometimes she just wants a puppy!!!!
Apparently she would still want us! We will get her a cuddly toy - lets face it if puppies weren's so sweet there wouldn't be so many puppy mills!
Lots of humans should stick to cuddly toys we think.

That's great that the other trainer adopted poor Hazel and that your mom is helping get her to be a nicely behaved puppy. Way to go!
