Yard Pictures

I am going to show you my backyard today...
here I am walking around the bromiliads....

Here is one of the flowers close up

Then I stepped on what Mom calls Cat Whiskers

Cat Whiskers

Then I walked into the giant celery plant (philodendron)

Then out again

Across the middle of the back... behind the palm tree

then across the back...

To the side yard....past the roses....

back to the pool deck...
my little cement pond (great for drinking from)

To my big cement pond for swimming, but now I need a nap!

You have a gorgeous yard. We always are amazed that anything lives in a yard with dogs. Not so at Chez Herd.

Oh how beautiful - your yard looks like a tropical garden to us in Scotland.
Loved the bromiliad close up!
We sometimes have those nice exotic plants in the conservatory but never in teh garden.

That is a very nice yard, lots of room for you to run around in. I hope your Mommy doesn't get mad cause you walked on the flowers.

It looks nice and warm! Our days are getting cold and my husky, Smokes, loves to stay outside! It is hard to get him in at night!!

Hi Kira
What an exotic yard you have. All those wonderful plants. I don't think any of them would grow outside in Aberdeen. But I'm glad to see that you also have access to plenty of water. I mean, I get too hot on a sunny day here in Scotland, so I can only imagine how it must be for a husky in Florida!
Cheers, H.
