Helping the Bassets!

It is time for us all to unite and help the Basset Girls, Martha and Bailey in their battle against the paparazzi taking over there lives.
"Friends, doggies, kitty cats and hamsters, lend us your ears......since we posted about how fed up we were with the constant taking of photos we have heard all the barks & meows from our fellow bloggers out there across the universe! We are being relentlessly pursued by these two leggars with flashy boxes! It is time to unite and take action. We call upon every dog, cat and hamster out there to help"-.Martha and Bailey

I will show my paparazzi how hard it is to catch a good photo of me!

Not here in the garden....

or here, chasing some lizard...

catch me if you can!!!!!!!

Good work Kira and thank you for your support!
Hopefully others will follow your lead.
For our WW post our mum had a selection of pics of us not looking at the camera - or eyes shut - however everyone thought we had given up!!!!
We dogs just cant help being cute even when we are running away from the camera!

Nice job Kira, fight the good fight! I hate that flashy beast because generally it comes out when some thing ridiculous is about to happen to me (like getting dressed up like a cow). I have made it my personal mission to fill up my mom's hard drive with bad pics of me because I know she never deletes anything. I hear talk of an external hard drive though so it might be futile! Worse yet there is talk of buying a better camera to catch me or a new laptop with MY kibble money! It is terrible!

HMMMM I like having my picture taken, after all I am very beautiful and feel the whole world needs to know that.

Hey there Kira,
I've looked at your post today and watched my mom's reaction. I can tell you, dear friend, that Mom was in stitches of laughter and that means one's not going to work!!! You see, now she is going to try and 'find' and 'take' pictures of us being elusive. This opens up the world of possibility for her flashy beast! I give up! I just close my eyes and go to sleep! "Ignorance is bliss" is working for me.
Great post though!!!:)

Very funny, if you move real fast they will never get a picture!!!
Have a super day!

Being very swift and unable to focus and stubborn at the same time .... sometimes makes HER put up the flashy beastie in aggravation. And when the cardlet thingy is fullish, it's very slow to click...and I'm gone like the wind by then! Practice your squirrely kill shakes when they point the flashy beastie at you. BLLLLUURRRRREEeeeee.

Good Job Kira!! My Mama is very sneaky and ALWAYS has the flashy beast on and waits until we least expect it to click it!!

Kira, I am ashamed to tell you that I failed this quest. My Mom used cheese, I mean what dog can resist the power of cheese!! Good luck, but I must admit, I will miss seeing your beautiful face.

Oh crud. This is the kind of bad influence that I hope Juno and Loki will avoid... but they've been reading these "help the basset" posts and now they're plotting. I suppose I'll have to get out the steak to get a good pict now. Thanks Kira. Thanks a lot! ;)
