The weather here has gotten very cold and the weatherman said there was a chance of
***SNOW flurries for Saturday Morning***

Now, back to our regularly scheduled program...
The next day we went for another boat ride to see the sights of Ft. Lauderdale. They call it the Venice of Florida because of all of the canals, woo can get most anywhere by boat.
We went by many nice little homes....
looking around
and then through the canals of downtown..
still looking,sort of...
.
then through Port Everglades where we saw really big boats, there was 4 cruise ships in port!
getting sleepy....

A beaWoootiful sunset back at the marina, although we were on the east coast of Florida, the sunsets over the inter-coastal waterway were still spectacular!

What beautiful pictures. They bring back so many memories for our Mom - she used to spend a lot of time in FL when she was but a pup.

Hi Kira, we are with Hamish - we looked at your holiday pics and thought how nice to live in a world that isn't all white!
That was a really lovely holiday - Ft Laudedale did look like Venice!

Mom and Dad got married at a restaurant in Ft. Lauderdale called the Seawatch. The food is pricey, but she highly recommends it if your parents are looking for somewhere to eat. Apparently the steak is good, so you should go too, I think.

While we really hope you see snow, the concept of snow and all of the pictures we have seen of you is just a little weird.
Snow flurries in Florida - what is the world coming to and what about all that global warming stuff?
Beautiful ride we had with you - those "little" houses are quite impressive. And we loved the sunsets. You really live the life of royalty there, Kira - lucky dog.
