Mom was driving to the store yesterday morning when this little guy was running in and out of traffic. She pulled over and stopped traffic to catch him. He was on a very busy road! Scary.
He was lucky.
Mom drove around a little to see if anyone locally recognized the little guy .She also brought him to the vet to see if he was micro-chipped, he was not, and had on no collar or tags.
Then she brought him home fur some water.
She made some signs and put them up near the place where he was found. In a few hours she got a call from a scared teenager who had lost him that morning.
"Marty" The Terrier was soon reunited with his family a lucky, and now safe, Pup!
Please get your Pups micro-chipped! It may save them from ever having to go into a pound if found!

WHat a good mom. Poor little doggie must have been scared as well as his owner. Sometimes running away seems like a good idea, but then before you know it, you are totally lost.
Yuh, PeeWee and I have the microchips for sure.

Well spotted. We often rescue a few that have wondered, but most of them remember the park, so they pass our cottage.... always spotted when there is no owner behind them. LUCKY PUP.... Good to know there is a happy ending. MICRO CHIPS SAVE LIVES

Good thing for Marty that your Mum was around. Ours has tried several times to rescue pups in the traffic, but they are so traumatised that they just run away.
We've all got our microchips.
