After dinner, I decided I would go out and play. Scampi and I played sheep herding (His game, not mine, I am the sheep!) I got hot, so I decided to go for a swim...
Scampi hates the water and runs away when I get out so he does not get wet!

I ran around the yard a bit, looked for lizards in the plants
looked for squirrels in the tree
Decided it was time to come in,but....what do you mean Mom? I need a towel? My feet are not that muddy!

You really do make that water look quite inviting to us. Maybe we need to rethink our aversion to water. Thunder is a different story, but Dakota and I are more like Scampi, keep us dry, please.

What lovely pictures! We sometimes meet a border collie when we are out on our walks who likes to herd us! It can be quite good fun - though sometimes we get fed up with it!

Those of us from the herding breeds do have the need to control everyone else hard-wired into us. That and the tendency to move in circles.

Scampi runs away just because you are wet? I like the way your fuzziness gets when you are wet. I am unclear why you are locked outside, though. How will you rub all over the carpet to dry off?
