Dad has been installing a new gate, and I decided since he was playing in the dirt

Then I made it out! Right under the new gate! I ran around the neighborhood for a while. That was fun.
Mom caught me when I was about to go in the golf course pond to cool down.....
Guess what happened next. Yuck!

You are my hero! I would LOVE to get out of the fence and explore the neighborhood on my own. I know that we live near the golf course and that is one of my favorite places. I cna't wait for part II.

Aahh Kira....it's no wonder we're in love, we're so alike! I like to escape too and I particularly love the golf course...ours has deer and chickens (not to mention rabbits) on it which are fun to chase!
And I have endured a different brand of torture today...."SHE" bought a FURminator and this morning stripped my plus-fours...how rooood..I feel positively naked!
I can't wait to hear about 'what Kira did next'....you should write a book :o)
Oh, and there's always room for you to snuggle on our sofa, i'll just boot Alfie off, hehe.

We were a bit worried about you getting out though and are glad you are now safely home. Bailey got under the gate of the wee cottage we stayed at although you really could not imagine how!!!
