Celeste has had a very successful career in over 25 years of dog showing with over 100 High in trials, 10 200’s, top National rankings and
also over 20 Conformation Championships as well! Celeste also takes GREAT pride in her students' success. They are among the most
successful obedience competitors in the country. Whether she’s outside the ring warming up a student or just outside the ring cheering them
on, Celeste pours her heart and soul into every dog & handler team. She helps them live the Dream!
Celeste prides herself in her “Attitude is Everything” operant conditioning way of dog training and handler motivation. She feels you
need to make it more fun for both the dog and handler in order to truly enjoy showing to your top potential.
“Without the want-to in the dog, the have to will ALWAYS dwindle down the attitude in your k-9’s performance and you, the
handler will lose your confidence in yourself and your desire to train! “YOUR “WANT TO” WILL BEGIN TO DWINDLE DOWN”
Celeste’s Upbeat, Motivational Training combines CONFIDENCE BUILDING for the handler as well as the dog! Incredibly, any dog will
learn to LOVE all training and proofing to enjoy “embracing the distractions” in advanced games. No more just setting the dog up to test
their level of stability by unnecessary corrections. Celeste not only knows how to reduce stress in the dog but she creates confidence in the
handler which every dog needs for a proper team partnership. Her methods have proven successful in many breeds.
Well , good luck with that Mom, sigh.....she is becoming such a dog geek.

Hi Kira
Sounds fascinating - yawn yawn - oops sorry yes from the dog's perspective we await with interest!
love

PS from the human mum's perspective I would like to know how you get that 'want to' factor into a basset hound - any suggestions welcome!
We are confused. We dogs are perfect. It is the humans that take so much training in order to properly respond to our wishes.
Miss Kira,
You have certainly been most busy. I am conflicted over the whole toy thing. I mean all the toys here are MINE so all the toys at your place should be YOURS, but I kind of like Scampi, so maybe he should have some too.
I think you are cleaning the cement pond with your snorting. Sort of like a filter.
The clean sheets look like they would be a great place to dry off after a dip in the pool. I'm just sayin.
Oh yeah, and your mom going to that dumb training thing? What's the point without bringing her dog? I bet they leash up the peoples and pretend they are training each other. That's great. Means that with some dunkin donuts and a cliker you should be able to get her to do anything.

As a Westie I wholeheartedly concur with the statement 'attitude is everything'. My attitude is that I prefer to retain my strongly independent-minded spirit.
Tell your Mom good luck with the seminar. I think she has an 'interesting challenge' on her hands with you two dogs...
Cheers, H
That just means more training for you.
Hi Kira!
Good luck to your mommy with the seminar. Don't you fret, just think of it as your mommy learning more ways to make your life more happy and fulfilling!!
Cheers & cheeze,
Maxx
Woo had better rest up...
I'm sure she'll khome home with all sorts of 'ideas'...
Of khourse, we KNOW they are really fur Skhampi!

The obvious question is "What does DOG training have to do with Siberian Huskies?" I mean... what's a "dog"? We are something else altogether. Stormy said so and she's really smart!
Play bows,
Zim
Zim is totally right. Sibes are not dogs and therefore need no training. Humans need training, so I guess it's good your mom is going to class.
Kat
Hm... Dog training? I think it really means that dogs are training humans. But that's just my humble opinion and not that of a professional...! ;)
