Back Home

Home from the vet. Scampi followed me around sniffing me.

Still sniffing...

I hid under Daddy's desk hoping to be left alone...
(I know you guys loved the desk on me picture, my favorite place to hide)
Then I went under Mom's painting table... I did not want to be alone after all.
As you can see I am ok. I had a good news/ bad news kind of day at the vet. The good news is that I did not have a seizure, which Mom was thrilled about. The bad news is that I had to have a lot of blood work done, the vet said my heart was beating way too slow, and I have been very lethargic
and sick lately, and that I may have some liver problems from my seizure meds. So we have to wait and see what the test results say. Thanks for all of the well wishes!

Hi Kira
Glad you are safely back home. We expect Scampi is just a bit worried about you! Bailey was more attentive to Martha when she had been to the vet - she usually just ignores her but she kept following her and sniffing.
You will be needing a nice rest now. It is a relief that you didn't have a seizure but the tests are a bit of a worry.
We will be keeping our paws crossed for you. You are as well getting things checked out if you havent been your usual self.
The vet might recommend something to make you feel better.
Take extra special care of yourself and perhaps a wee lick for Scampi.
lots of love
Martha & Bailey xx

Great to here that the visit was seizure-free and we've got our paws crossed that they fix the meds issues.

We will keep our paws crossed that your blood work comes back okay and that it's something easily fixed.

We always get pretty interested in anypup or cat that comes back from the vet too. Wilbur thinks it's especially bad when he gets home and we tag team him.

Kira, I'm glad you didn't have a seizure and I hope they find out what is wrong so you can get well very soon.

By the way, I think your daddy needs a bigger desk for you to fit under!
