Fall???

As woo know I live in Florida, where the season are not the same as they can be elsewhere.
Right now, as Mum is cleaning up the yard from our freezing weather, clearing away the dead plants,
Woo can see a picture of our trees.
As woo can see it looks a little bare, It is a Laurel Oak tree, considered evergreen, except fur a couple of weeks in early spring, where all of the old leafs are pushed out by the new growth.
 It makes a mess.
Leaves, leaves, everywhere...
all over my cement pond!

Our Mom and Dad used to have those oaks when they lived in SC - it was a pain and seemed as if something was always falling from them.

Hopefully the weather will start looking much better for the cleanup effort.

Your blog is lovely. I've signed on as a follower and would love it if you do the same at Critter Alley!

This is all very confusing. We suggest taking multiple naps as the solution.

Oh, what a mess that tree makes. Mom says she would get rid of it. She had pin oaks in Massachusetts and hated them too because they were the last to drop their leaves in the fall, usually after Thanksgiving. By then it was cold and the leaves were always wet and heavy when bagged. Here our trees are still little so the leaf issue isn't too bad.

Bet you can't wait for that pool to be ready for a swim:)

Our garden is full of leaves left over from Autumn - they have laid there all winter!
Our humans are so very lazy and will have to clear up the garden for summer!
We just love the look of your pool Kira.

Good thing you're there to supervise all that clean-up--though after that other drastic pruning, you'd better stay awake.

We met a husky on our walk last night--another new friend.

Woo have a pawsome yard. We like the big tree, even though you may need to clean up the yard at times.

Messy messy leaves. You should get a pool cover and then you should bounce on that! You'll love it! I do it all the time. It's like a trampoline

Hi Kira!
Hope the weather clears up soon.
Sorry about your leafy pool.
We get loads of rain here and mommy forgot to close the windows this morning, the whole bedroom floor's like a shallow lake..!

Kira! Moma says that tree is the most beautiful shape! She asks (we don't know what it means) is it In Didge In Us? She says she doesn't know if she's ever seen one. All we care about (well ... we'll be honest ... all FERGI cares about) is that cement pond. She discovered swimming last summer, in Florida, and can hardly wait for a chance to do it again!

Finally spring has sprung. enjoy it!

What a big nasty mess. That tree is most inconsiderate. Those leaves are going to be hard to rake up.
