Tuesdays with Scampi

Lady MFT and Kira think this cartoon is funny. Do they not understand about Border Collies?

We are the smartest dogs in the world. They will just have to learn how to deal with it... although it can be hard with all of that fluff for brains.....

There was a special supplement on dogs and cats in my paper on Saturday. The section on border collie temperament said "it's not easy living with a genius". Also, for space requirements "Wales". For the record, it warned that, with a Siberian husky "walks are virtually a full time job - especially when you factor in all the time you spend trying to find your missing dog..."
Cheers! Gail.

Hey Scamoi, did you hear about the girl border collie in Austria who has a vocabulary of 300 words, and can recognise toys and fetch them just by looking at a picture?

PS: They did a survey in England recently about what breed of dog was the cleverest and what breed the most joyful. Border collies were the cleverest, but springer spaniels were the most joyful!

Hey there Scampi

I wouldn't ask a Border Collie to change a lightbulb...!....

...all the lightbulbs in the entire building will be changed and the entire electrical system will be reviewed and rewired!

You guys are the best! Very cute cartoon...thanks for making us smile!

Lots of licks to the lightbulb dog!

Hey Scampi, I will let you do the coloring, just drop the crayon on the floor when you are done, like the little bipeds do here, and then I can chomp on it.

Do you really get to play with crayons? I've always thought that would help my work as Mom's Guide Dog for the Color Blind, but she doesn't let me use them.

Dave

Scampi. You are indeed very smart. You let your mom know that our Moma wanted to know about those trees. And now she knows! Thank you.

Sheesh! Even I know that border collies are not actual doggies, but aliens from the planet agility.
